Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) The lush sound of these four chamber music pieces, as well as the long list of instruments involved in this recording, suggest that "glaswegians" is a large ensemble. However, very few is know about its members. Well... surprisingly it turns out that there are no members - just a single person writing and performing all of this sublime music, who doesn't want to disclose anything about her/his identity. "I started Glaswegians with the aim of removing the persona of the music - there’s nothing between the listener and the sounds", the anonymous artist states in an interview with the "Northwest Music Scene" in October 2017, but concedes in the end: "I’m really proud of the new songs I’ve been writing though, so I’m considering dropping the anonymity for the next album." This album will be the follow-up of "severance". Let's wait and see... Source: www.northwestmusicscene.net/review-glaswegians-eclectic-collection-dares-listeners/ Favorite track: petrichor.
Can This Even Be Called Music?
Can This Even Be Called Music? thumbnail
Can This Even Be Called Music? The album is highly orchestrated and develops ostinati over extended periods of time, which are often in odd times. Overall, it’s really an interesting album!

Nerve Salad
Nerve Salad thumbnail
Nerve Salad Befuddling, otherworldly, multi-instrumental prog. There is so much going on here, you might as well strap yourself in for the duration while you pick apart each new thing it throws at you. It's not so much an orchestral barrage, but a great album of lush ultra-layered vignettes. Favorite track: orwellian.
